UNION, NJ – Township officials have released additional information about the Columbian Swim Club opening on July 13 for all Union residents.

According to the township’s website, the swim club pool will be open to all residents and Knights of Columbus members only.  Every individual in a family, including children, must be registered to an account and for the selected day.

The cost is $5.00 per session for adults and $3.00 per session for children aged 5 – 18.  Children 4 years of age and under are free.

A maximum of 75 individuals will be permitted in the pool each session.  There will be two sessions per day:  12:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Families may register for a maximum of three sessions per week -- two between Monday and Thursday and one between Friday and Sunday.   If you select two sessions on the same day, you must leave the pool area with all of your belongings between 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. for a sanitization break.

Online reservations will be available one week in advance.  A concession stand will have snacks available for purchase for all guests.  The Knights of Columbus bar and picnic grove area are available for KoC members only. Temperature checks for all individuals and proof of residency (or KOC membership) will be required to enter.  The Knights of Columbus pool is located at 1034 Jeanette Avenue.
