MONTVILLE, NJ – The building itself is still closed to the public, but residents can pick up books at the Montville Township Public Library starting June 18, with more hours beginning Monday, June 22, Library Director Allan Kleiman announced.

Starting Thursday at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., patrons can pick up books they have placed on hold at the library’s catalog website, or by calling the library at 973-402-0900. After they place the hold – the book has to be at the Montville Library since there will be no movement of books between libraries – the library will send an email when the books are ready and waiting. Then residents should call the library to make an appointment to pick up the books in a bag on tables in front of the library.

Returns of items are not being accepted, and due dates have been extended. No fines are being charged.
