PARKLAND, FL- Roy and Caryl Fantel of Fantel Music will be presenting "Mr. Roy's Family Music" at the Parkland Library on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10 :00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. They will be giving a 30 minute interactive class to children ages 4 and under.

The Fantels are world-class musicians with years of professional experience, much of it coming from life as professional musicians in New York. Caryl has played Carnegie Hall and been involved in a number of Emmy and Tony award-related performances. Roy is an accomplished percussionist that has performed endlessly on Broadway and at major venues along the East Coast.

"To say Roy Fantel is an accomplished drummer and percussionist is to make a gross understatement... Roy is much more. He breathed life into my compositions by utilizing his skills and his depth of musical knowledge. Roy is a consummate professional, and I trust his skills as well as his musical judgment. In addition to his proficiency, Roy is the nicest and most professional musician I have ever worked with," says composer Van Cooper.

The event is available to the general public, but attendees must have a Parkland library card to register. To register for this event, please visit www.cityofparkland.org/library or call (954)757-4207.
