Playground Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Takes Places Prior to Summer Concert featuring 52nd Street Band

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the new playground at Memorial Park prior to the free concert in the park featuring 52nd Street Band, a Billy Joel tribute band, at 7:30 p.m..

The free concert in the park series is presented by the Berkeley Heights Recreation Commission and is sponsored by the following season sponsors: Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights, Berkeley Aquatic Club, Grain & Cane Bar and Table and Smith Chiropractic Foundation.

This week's concert is sponsored by E Medical Urgent Care giving away fans and Pearly Whites featuring a Prize Wheel with a drawing for free in office teeth whitening, office exam and cleaning, as well as tee shirt, sonic care, and other giveaways. Taylor Rental will be giving out free popcorn and Smith Chiropractic will provide free water bottles.

This season each concert will feature the Grain & Cane food truck so attendees can buy dinner right at the show.  The Suburban Chamber of Commerce will host a booth with free drawings for $25 gift cards to the following local restaurants; Goodman's Restaurant & Deli, Giovanni's Bistro Bar, and Delicious Heights. Also, the popular TAPinto family photo contest will take place at each of the four free concerts, so bring your smile, for a chance to win $100 gift cards to several local restaurants sponsored by Smith Chiropractic, Goodman's and Delicious Heights.
