VERONA, NJ - The Verona Pool will open full-time on July 1 for Verona residents only with membership registration starting Monday, June 22.  The pool will remain open through Labor Day, September 7.

As expected, many new rules will be in place due to COVID-19, which include:

  • Members, guests and employees over the age of two must wear a face covering when entering and exiting the pool grounds and when using the restrooms.  Face coverings should NOT be work in the water.
  • The water slides and playground will not be open this summer.  No swimming lessons will be offered.
  • There will be no snack bar this summer, but two vending machines will be serving soft drinks.  Food can be delivered to the pool but no delivery drivers will be allowed inside the pool gate. 

Memberships can be obtained via Community Pass system only and all memberships will include three single-day guest passes. Guests must have proof of Verona residency.

Pool tags will be available outside the Verona Community Center Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tags can also be picked up at the Membership Tent located outside the front gate of the pool from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from July 1 through July 5. Valid identification with proof of a Verona address is required to pick up pool membership tags.
