EDISON, NJ  - The New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) is hosting a seminar on February 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Pines Manor in Edison.  Titled “Hard Decisions, Hot Topics, Your Legal Questions,” the seminar will highlight recent changes to laws and regulations affecting the workplace according to the group.

Issues that will be covered by a panel of industry and legal experts will include paid sick leave and pay equity, as well as proposals now advancing in the Legislature to legalize marijuana and expand paid family leave.

The seminar will begin with a networking and continental breakfast, which will be followed by an overview of the issues, presented by James J. Jacob, Jr., Vice President, Business Development, of Primepoint LLC.  In addition to panel discussions, the seminar will also include question and answer sessions, along with networking opportunities, according to organizers.
