PARKLAND, FL- The completion of Thanksgiving transitions directly into the beginning of the heavy holiday shopping season for many Americans. The "unofficial" holidays recognizing business and enterprise have become mini-celebrations of their own. Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday have become reminders to shoppers that great deals can be found by supporting business almost everywhere we look this time of year.

Today's Small Business Saturday event is recognized around the country, and Parkland is no exception. Many people choose to live in Parkland because of the space, comfort of living, and intentionally careful commercial development.

Parkland has literally hundreds of business that operate not only in storefronts, but directly out of our homes in the beautiful communities we are blessed to inhabit. The Parkland Chamber of Commerce has been supporting and helping develop small business for years, with a mission to "encompass and promote the well-being of the entire business community within the City of Parkland, while maintaining the City’s residential integrity and enhancing our quality of life." As Parkland has grown, so has the Chamber of Commerce and its members.

In celebration of Small Business Saturday, we encourage local shoppers to intentionally seek out Parkland's local business and "shop local" today. For a listing of members of the Parkland Chamber of Commerce, please visit their member directory today. Happy shopping from TAPinto Parkland!
