JERSEY CITY, NJ - Students from Martin Luther King Jr. School – PS 11 in Jersey City, N.J., enjoy breakfast from their new in-school breakfast cart provided by GENYOUth and partners the PepsiCo Foundation and American Dairy Association North East during a National School Breakfast Week event held on March 6.

The cart will help the school expand its Breakfast After the Bell program, allowing students to pick up healthy breakfast items on-the-go, including yogurt parfaits, cheese sticks and assorted milk options. Currently, one in six children nationally is food insecure, and this cart is part of a larger effort to deliver 370 breakfast carts to schools around the nation by the end of 2020 to give all students access to a nutritious breakfast.
