NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The League of Women Voters of New Jersey-Greater New Brunswick Area (LWVNJ-GNBA) is celebrating National Voter Registration Day, Sept. 24 by sponsoring an online Trivia Quiz.
 
The winner will receive $300. The contest began Sept. 3  The winner will be randomly selected from all the entrants who have answered all the questions correctly.  All New Jersey residents 17 years of age or older are eligible to participate. LWVNJ-GNBA’s goal is for all the participants to learn from the questions; therefore, there will be hints along the way.
 
The contest has several purposes:
   - to educate New Jersey residents about the Voter Registration process
   - to inform people about the need to re-register if they’ve changed their name or address
   - to remind people to register or re-register by October 15, 2019 in order to vote on Nov. 5th     
LWVNJ-GNBA members want all New Jersey residents who are eligible, to vote in the Nov. 5 election.
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan, non-profit organization with a history of promoting informed voter participation and enhanced citizen engagement. With this contest, GNBA League members hope to reach thousands of NJ residents who may not have registered or have not gotten their questions answered regarding voting or voter registration.
