Fairfield is a small town with a big heart. I consider myself blessed to have been born and raised in this wonderful township, and I have had the pleasure of knowing town council members and candidates Joe Cifelli and Mike McGlynn since my childhood.
As children we do not comprehend the significance of “it taking a village,” but one thing I did understand was that from our time in Stevenson through West Essex, Mr. Cifelli and Mr. McGlynn were there; guiding us, advocating for us, and offering words of encouragement along the way. Not only did they care about Fairfield, they cared about us.
Now, as a mother of two young boys, I understand the importance of having a “village” in which my own children can thrive. And, just as they were there when I was a child myself, Mr. Cifelli and Mr. McGlynn are there offering their continual support. As I walked in the park recently, disheartened that my youngest needed to wear a cranial helmet, Mr. Cifelli took the time to stop and share his own experiences, and assured me this would soon be a distant memory. When my oldest experienced stage fright before performing at Winter Wonderland, Mr. McGlynn was there to wipe his tears and help him on stage. These gentlemen have selflessly committed themselves to uniting our community, improving our town and strive to make Fairfield the best it can be.
Fairfield is a small town with a big heart, and I am privileged to say that Joe Cifelli and Mike McGlynn are part of Fairfield’s heart.
With support and appreciation,
