NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Renaissance is not limited to Prism Capital Partners' On3 redevelopment of the abandoned Roche site, it is taking place in the local neighborhoods where hard work, innovation, and now, relocation, are making all the difference.
Jack Calandra, saw an opportunity in the township jumped at the chance to relocate the acclaimed Amore from Montclair's South End to Nutley. Amore, formerly located near the now retired South End Hardware in Montclair, was sold, so he can focus his attention on the new location.
Amore Pizza, located steps from the epicenter of Nutley's business district, is set to open in mid-November according to Calandra. It is located on Centre St. in the space formerly occupied by Gencarelli's Pizza and Rita's, a few doors from the intersection of Franklin Ave.
With a large parking lot on the property, this is sure to be a hot spot for local families looking for a takeaway meal. When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, that's Amore!
