Nutley DPW Computer & Electronics Recycling Day is Saturday, July 13 9am to 1pmin Muni Lot #7 (Franklin Avenue behind Bella Luce). Nutley residents are invited to bring unwanted computers/laptops, fax machines, microwaves, monitors, printers, scanners, stereos, speakers, televisions, VCR/DVD players for recycling.
This week features a special Market Walk & Talk—our North West Nutley History Walk—with Dave Wilson and Town Historian John Demmer. We will meet at the Market at 8:15 and step off at 8:30am to learn about some of our town's many interesting and historic spots. See you there or RSVP on Meetup.
Our "Sustainability Sundays” topic is Grasscycling. Check out last week's on Composting Made Easy.
Shop weekly with Asprocolas Acres, Buon Antipasto, Empanada Lady, Gourmet Nuts & Dried Fruit, Hidden Valley Farm, Hoboken Farms, Layton Florals, Pickles Olives Etc., Treelicioius Orchards, and our newest addition Truffalla. This week's featured vendors are Mexi Boys, Pallotta Hot Sauce, and Pooch and Pawsome.
While you shop, enjoy musical guest Anthony Meola & Friends making their Market debut!
Each week, we invite donations of non-perishables such as hot and cold cereals, nut butters, and jelly for the Nutley Family Service Bureau Food Pantry. This week and every other week, we also welcome your donations of fresh produce (Jul 14, Jul 28, Aug 11, Aug 25, Sep 8, Sep 22, Oct 6, Oct 20).
Further supporting access to healthy foods for all, our EBT Machine gives eligible patrons (SNAP, WIC, SFMNP) more opportunity to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, and packaged foods.
We're also doubling SFMNP vouchers so our eligible seniors will receive an additional $25! Stop by the Greenutley tent for details, and join us on July 28 for SFMNP sign-up at the Nutley Farmers Market as well as free blood pressure and glucose screenings by RWJBarnabas Community Health Outreach.
Love our Market? Recommend it others during American Farmland Trust's Farmers Market Celebration.
You can also help us spread the word by joining our 10th season Facebook event.
And when you post those photos of your Market finds on social media, tag them #FindJerseyFresh (and#nutleyfarmersmarket) for a chance to win in the Find Jersey Fresh photo contest.
See you at the Market!
