At their Annual Awards Meeting Wednesday night, the members of Impact 100 Garden State voted to award three $110,000 grants to the following recipients and their programs:

  • County College of Morris Foundation – Dover College Promise
  • CUMAC – Beyond Hunger
  • Union County Economic Development Corp. – Entrepreneurship as a Second Chance

These exceptional organizations will provide services and scholarships to low-income middle and high school students, healthy foods and supportive services to help break the cycle of poverty, and opportunities to explore business ownership to citizens returning from incarceration as a way to reenter society.

Two merit grants of $8,000 each were awarded to Passaic County Community College Foundation and The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.
