NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The Our House Foundation will host its 20th Annual Our House 4 Mile Run and 2 Mile Walk in Summit on May 11, beginning at 10 a.m.. The event, headquartered on the Village Green, welcomes elite athletes, the casual runner, and anyone looking to make a difference by supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

CBS 2's John Elliott will once again serve as the event's Guest Master of Ceremonies.

The 4 Mile Run is a USATF Grand Prix Event, offering USATF runners 500 points. Our House will also offer free photo downloads and more than $1,000 in prizes available to all participants! In addition, there will be $650 in prize money to the Top 3 female and male finishers, medals to the Top 3 overall runners, and age group medals to the Top 3 runners in each five-year age group.

The event will again offer non-stop DJ music, lunch refreshments, and special commemorative long sleeve tee shirts for participants. Participants and attendees will also have the opportunity to cheer on Our House residents and participants with special needs as they compete in the 'Everyone’s a Winner Race'.

Founded in 1980, Our House, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides residential, employment, day program, and recreational services to more than 300 individuals with developmental disabilities. Our House's first home opened in 1980 in Summit, and the organization now includes 29 residences throughout Union, Essex, Somerset and Morris Counties.
