Westfield Police Send Love and Christmas Wishes to Terminally Ill Boy

After reading this story about 6-year-old Nathan Norman in Rustburg, VA, Westfield Police Chief David Wayman sent an email to his contacts worldwide to encourage to them to give the child, who suffers cancer, his wish—to receive Christmas cards.

“I am sending him one signed by everyone in my department along with a basket of miscellaneous items from my PD,” said Wayman.

The Norman family’s story went viral since September, after Nathan asked his parents if they could put up a Christmas tree early to help him feel better.
