COVID-Friendly Race for MissionCleanWater

MissionCleanWater has coordinated with towns to develop a COVID friendly race series that will fill the gap with races being canceled. The charity's mission is to provide clean drinking water and sanitation to underserved communities. Their projects have helped 7,500 people gain access to clean water and prioritize community development, impact investing, and long-term sustainability. To create new experiences for the communities that support them, they have developed a unique racing series.

The race series welcomes beginners, families and experts and have events for cyclists, road runners and trail runners. Their “choose your own adventure” race style is unique where runners are given a map filled with checkpoints and must create their own route to reach each checkpoint. This is an excellent way to explore different towns and see the unique sites they have to offer. By registering, 100% of your registration acts as a donation.

Their series is focused on safety and COVID-19 preparations. Registration is all online to avoid large groupings, people can run their own routes to try to find shortcuts, and wellness checks are completed before starting the race.
