It's a family atmosphere. Many speeches during the meeting were about family. In fact,  generations of families. Children growing up together worked with their neighbors at local farms.  Sisters and brothers from officials in the room shared a connectivity that the full house recognized as par for the course in historic Colts Neck.

The reorganization included the swearing in of JP Bartolomeo. He also served as Mayor for 2018.  Committeeman Frank Rizzuto was also sworn to a new term and the Mayor for 2019 is Tom Orgo, a longtime steward of the community.

Orgo was sworn in by former State Senator and Acting Governor John Bennett whose families go way back in Colts neck history. Many dignitaries also attended including Freeholders Gerald Sharfenberger and Patrick Impreveduto. Monmouth County GOP Chairman Shaun Golden was also present. Golden was previously a Colts Neck Police Officer.
