RED BANK, NJ:  If you lived through it, it will always seem like yesterday.  It’s something that really never goes away, it’s always in a small recess of your mind.

And that’s a good thing.

A ceremony was held at Riverside Gardens park this morning that began at 9:30am.

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

We as Americans pay tribute to those who lost their lives that fateful day.  We gather in unity and dignity to honor the freedoms that we have fought for in the past, the freedoms our loved ones have died for, and those freedoms that we continue to fight for today.

The attacks on September 11th, 2001 struck the nation hard, but perhaps the hardest in the two-river area.

More New Jerseyans died on 9/11 than any other state in the union, second only to New York – nearly 700 souls.
