CALDWELL-WEST CALDWELL, NJ — As part of the Caldwell and West Caldwell Environmental Commissions’ joint effort to celebrate the earth through a series of “Earth Day” events, both communities are hosting workshops on Saturday to teach residents how to create a pollinator-friendly garden.

Through these events, participants will learn about the importance of pollinators and how to use native plants to attract them to their yards. Both locations will also provide participants with chemical-free native plants for their gardens.

The first workshop will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Caldwell Borough Hall. A second workshop will be held at the West Caldwell Public Library at 1:00 p.m.
