SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The South Orange Department of Public Works will "circle the Township" to pick up Christmas trees from Jan. 7 to Feb. 22, according to an update on the South Orange website.

In order to be eligible for collection, trees must be free of ornaments, lighting, and stands. The Department of Public Works also advised residents to be sure to remove trees from plastic bags or plastic wrap when placing curbside, "as trees in plastic will not be collected."

No other materials will be collected, including wreaths, as they are not recyclable.
