HAWTHORNE, NJ - Spring began Thursday.  The season of new beginnings, rebirth, and the return of natural color.  Spring is a time, we hope, of things getting better. 

While the winter was exceptionally mild, the local wildlife reflect the seasonal changes in the borough. 

Hawthorne Green Team member Holly Cowen sent in a number of pictures to TAPinto Hawthorne to share with the readers some of the vibrant sights of our local fauna from around town and in the 8 Acre Wood within Goffle Brook Park.
