After ringing in the New Year, the Warren Township Committee remains committed to providing a convenient solution for Warren Township residents that commute into NYC. The Warren Township Park & Ridewill continue to offer weekday (Monday-Friday) EXPRESS bus service from Warren Township directly to NY Port Authority Bus Terminal.
The EXPRESS bus departs Warren Corporate Center at 6:45 am, with NO stops en-route to the NY Port Authority Bus Terminal. Additionally, commuters have multiple options in the evening, as Warren is the 1st stop for Express buses that leave the NY Port Authority Bus Terminal at 5:30 pm, 5:45 pm, 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
“I love the bus service, I don't think I could handle the commute to the city without it,” said Warren Township Resident, Jakob Gade. “The trip is typically around 50-60 minutes depending on traffic. Buses skip most of the traffic before the Lincoln Tunnel in the morning by using a dedicated bus lane, and the bus itself is comfortable, there's legroom, people are super quiet, and most importantly, it’s always on-time.”
FREE Parking permits are available as residents have access to the Parking Deck of Building 300 at the Warren Corporate Center off King George Road near I-78 Exit 36. Spaces assigned specifically for commuters have been made available by the Center’s owner, Vision Real Estate Partners, through an agreement with Warren Township.
“Comfort, convenience and reliability are a common theme when I receive feedback from residents that take advantage of the Park & Ride,” said George Lazo, Warren Township Committee Liaison. “It’s an important service for members of our community, and prospective homeowners exploring Warren as a potential residence, and I’m confident ridership will continue to increase.”
Lakeland Bus Company of Dover provides a comfortable 57-seat ADA-compliant express bus. The fee is $13.75 for a one-way pass, or $118.50 for a 10-trip pass. Tickets can be purchased at Krauzers in Warren, Twp., at the Port Authority ticket windows 1-10 and all transit vending machines.
In addition to Warren Township residents, the Park & Ride service is available to residents of Watchung who commute into NYC.
