BEDMINSTER, NJ - A store employee has tested positive for COVID-19 at the Bedminster Kings Supermarket located at 450 Route 206N and Hills Drive, according to signage at the location.
“On Tuesday, March 24 we were notified that an individual working in the Bedminster store tested positive for COVID-19. We immediately enacted our Emergency Coronavirus Response Protocol. In addition to our enhanced sanitation protocols, the store was thoroughly disinfected by outside professionals. Our store remains open,” Kings released in an official statement.
The signage at the location also noted that one other store associate was identified as being in prolonged close contact and instructed to self-quarantine.
In a message from Kings CEO Judy Spires on their website, dated March 25th, she referenced how the chain is taking care of their associates and what the public can do to help Kings protect the health of their associates during the pandemic. They ask that customers continue to practice active social distancing in stores, make no returns and support the community food bank. “Our store associates continue to inspire us with their tenacity, patience and endless amounts of good cheer for the communities we serve,” said Spires.
