PISCATAWAY, NJ – Middlesex County health officials reported 3 new positive COVID-19 cases in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 822  residents who have tested positive. No additional information regarding the new cases was provided.

The reported death toll remains at 32 for the township.

There are now 16,021 positive cases in Middlesex County and 997 deaths, according to covid19.nj.gov.

The New Jersey Department of Health reported 708 new cases, 161,545 total and 51 new deaths for a statewide total of 11,770.

Other key metrics like new hospitalizations, cases in the ICU/CCU and number of patients needing ventilators all continue to trend downward, according to covid19.nj.gov.
