PISCATAWAY, NJ — Middlesex County health officials reported one new positive COVID-19 case in Piscataway over the last 24-hour period, bringing the total to 841 residents who have tested positive. No additional information regarding the new case was provided.

The reported death toll remains at 34 for the township.

According to covid19.nj.gov, there are now 16,513 positive cases in Middlesex County and 1,094 deaths.

New Jersey has recorded a total of 167,703 positive cases of COVID-19 since the first hospitalization 106 days ago, and 12,769 deaths, an increase of 42 overnight, according to Wednesday's update from the State Department of Health.
