ST. BONAVENTURE, NY — The St. Bonaventure University Faculty Senate has passed a motion to adjust the university’s academic calendar.
If university President Dr. Dennis DePerro signs off on the vote, the fall semester would start on Aug. 24, one week earlier than scheduled, and end on Nov. 24. There would be no midterm break (originally scheduled for Oct. 10-13), and classes and exams would remain online until Dec. 9.
Depending on New York State guidance for reopening schools, more amendments could be made to the motion throughout the summer.
