SUMMIT, NJ - The New Jersey State Department of Health informed the City of Summit of one new, confirmed case of COVID-19. The new case is Summit's first since June 26. Summit now has seen 216 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

The City of Summit also announced it will not be reporting daily COVID-19 stats again until July 6.

Statewide, there were 386 new cases of COVID-19 reported, bringing the Garden State's total to 172,742. There were 58 deaths reported, raising the total number of New Jersey lives lost during the pandemic to 13,308.
