BERNARDSVILLE, NJ — Free Household Clean-up Day for private residences, multi-family dwellings apartment units and churches will be held only on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Bernardsville Compost Facility at 150 Pill Hill Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residents will be allowed to dispose of one pick-up truck or van of material free of charge. Residents must provide proof of residency in order to access the facility, wear masks and maintain social distances.

Household items that will be accepted include furniture, heating boilers, hot water heaters, stoves, washing machines, clothes dryers, air conditioners, refrigerators, dishwashers, freezers, lawn mowers, weed whackers, carpets and mattresses. Fluids or fuel must be completely drained or evacuated from appliances or items to which that applies.
