RANDOLPH, NJ - Residents heading along Dover Chester Road and North Road in Randolph and Chester may experience some traffic and delays beginning next week.
Road work on the 4.4 mile section will begin as early as June 17. Motorists should expect delays. Bicyclists are urged to seek alternate routes.
Milling and paving is underway on South Morris Street in Dover and striping should be completed shortly on South Street in Morris Township; and milling work continues on a 1.7-mile section of Littleton Road in Parsippany, from Route 10 to the Parsippany Road area. In addition, the county plans to go out to bid Monday June 10 on a resurfacing project for North Passaic Avenue in Chatham Borough and Florham Park.
“It is vital our residents and business community to maintain the high quality of county road in Morris County,’’ said Freeholder Stephen Shaw. “We are working closely with the affected towns and their police to handle traffic flow and potential detours, and ask residents who are inconvenienced to be patient as we get this work done for you.’’
