WASHINGTON, D.C., — The US outdoor recreation industry has recently expressed concerns regarding the implications of tariffs and trade to their thriving manufacturing and sales of outdoor equipment such as RVs, Boats, Bikes, Snowmobiles, Fishing equipment, Archery equipment, etc.. As recreational horseback riding is the largest sector of the equine industry, the American Horse Council has been asked by the outdoor recreation industry if the equine industry is concerned about these issues. They are reaching out to the equine business sector with a short survey to get some sense of possible implications.
The survey will take no more than five minutes. Responses should be inclusive of all equine sectors of the industry served – i.e. do not limit answers to recreation sector. Take the survey by Sept. 16.
