TEWKSBURY TWP., N.J. — The Tewksbury Trail place will return to the Hill & Dale Preserve on Sept.15 and is expected to attract 150 equestrians..
The ride will benefit the Ten Mile Trail Initiative. The initiative is a cooperative effort between the Tewksbury Land Trust (TLT), NJ Conservation Foundation (NJCF), and the TTA. Once completed, the Ten-Mile Trail will form a cohesive greenway throughout northern Tewksbury, which will connect Tewksbury's Hell Mountain. NJCF's Hill & Dale Preserve and the Hunterdon County’s Cold Brook Preserve.
Significant work is still needed to secure some of the key pieces to form the continuous trail. When completed it will be open to all trail enthusiasts.
TTA's Annual Pace will incorporate several miles of the trail already acquired for the project.
A significant portion of the Pace’s proceeds will be donated to the TLT and NJCF, and earmarked for the Ten-Mile Trail Initiative.
There will be Long & Short Courses. Participants should use 3 Parsonage Lot Rd. Lebanon N.J. for GPS
