Pa. 4-H Leader, Ulrich to Receive AYHC's Adult Leader Award

Betsy Ullrich, a 4-H horse club leader from Chester County, Pa. will receive the American Youth Horse Council's Adult Leader Award.

Awarded annually, the award is presented to the adult leader who best exemplifies outstanding leadership to young people within the horse industry. This top leader introduces newcomers to the horse industry, mentors young horsemen, and promotes the horse industry within the local community. They accomplish these goals in fun and innovative ways.

Ullrich has been working with youth within the horse industry for more than 20 years. She has produced or assisted with several, significant 4-H initiatives in the Pennsylvania 4-H Horse Program at the county, district and state levels. Additionally, she assisted with the development and implementation of numerous programs, activities, curriculum and educational resources.
