CASA for Children Information Session

CASA for Children: Volunteer Info Session
Saturday, January 14 at 10:00am
Newark Public Library

Join Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children at our upcoming Volunteer Information session to learn how you can serve as a advocate to a child in foster care.

As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, you will be empowered by the courts to provide critical emotional and educational support to your advocate child and ensure that child's voice is heard in the family court system. Most importantly, you will be the one consistent adult in the child's life.

Who Can Be a CASA Volunteer? You do not need to be a lawyer or social worker to be a volunteer. We welcome people from all walks of life. We are simply looking for people who care about children and have common sense, have the ability to be dedicated and consistent. Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.

As a volunteer, you will be thoroughly trained by CASA and well supported by our professional staff to help you with each child's case.

Attend CASA's next volunteer information session to learn how you can make a lasting difference in a foster child's life!

RSVP: Call or email Katie at the contact info above. Thank you!
