HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - A late summer lightning storm forced the Hillsborough Rotary Fair to close down two hours early Friday night, but not before a thundering fireworks display lit up the sky.

Thousands of people streamed out of the fairgrounds at the conclusion of the fireworks just as the rain came down, creating a massive traffic jam in the adjacent parking lot.
