On Sunday, April 11. 2021, the North Hunterdon High School Varsity Cheerleaders were awarded the State Title of “All Girl Medium Varsity (16-19 athletes) Champions.”

A percentage of the team gathered at local restaurant, Riley and Jakes, to watch the virtual announcement and results of the NJCDCA State Cheerleading Competiton on April 11.

The season began outdoors in the grass fields of North Hunterdon High School in August of 2020. Over the course of the last eight months, these athletes overcame losing practice space, two COVID-19 shut downs, snow day closures, and numerous other challenges to inevitably take the schools first ever State Title.
