LAVALLETTE, NJ — A New Jersey State Police helicopter flew overhead and U.S. Coast Guard boats were visible in nearby offshore waters as hundreds celebrated the grand opening of a playground recently built in Lavallette Beach in memory of Livingston resident Brendan Tevlin.
