Caldwell Police Chief James Bongiorno Seeks New Recruits

CALDWELL, NJ  - Chief James H. Bongiorno, of the Caldwell Police Department,  has announced that his department is accepting applications for new Police Officers.

Chief Bongiorno explained, “We will be having two officers retire over the next year.  We’re seeking new recruits who will begin in 2013.”  

According to the Police Chief,  all applicants must be Police Training Commission Certified and meet the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:14‐122.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years-old.

All those interested, and meeting the requirements should submit their Resume and Cover Letter to the Borough of Caldwell by Dec. 15th.   No resumes will be accepted by phone, fax or e‐mail.

Chief Bongiorno stated, “We will be putting together a screening committee for the interview process after all resumes are received by the December 15th deadline.”
