HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Hundreds of grocery bags filled with donated food and household items were loaded on to a bus outside the ShopRite supermarket Saturday by members of the Hillsborough Police Department PBA #205, thanks to the generosity of shoppers responding to the annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive.

Outside the store, police officers, family and friends handed out flyers to shoppers as they entered the store that listed items needed, everything from canned vegetables, snacks and cofeee to soap, razors and deodorant

A steady stream of shoppers dropped off bags of donations into shopping carts that were wheeled to the bus where members of PBA #205 piled the bags on the seats, beneath the seats and on the floor of the bus. A steady stream of carts were wheeled to the bus for four hours before the last donations were accepted by police.
