PLAINFIELD, NJ — The City of Plainfield plans to hold a property auction on Wednesday, October 21 outside City Hall. The bid package identifies properties that are non-conforming with respect to the bulk requirements of their respective zoning.

The majority of the properties are vacant land starting at $5,000; a two-family house and a commercial building are also included. Details in the document include lot dimensions, zone designations, and recommendations for the properties; conditions of sale for the public auction; and a variance approval contingency period.

Those interested in participating in the auction must register in advance by submitting this formpdf to the Tax Assessor's office by Tuesday, October 20.
