BERNARDSVILLE, NJ -- A designer showhouse in the borough will be the site of a fundraising event Friday benefitting the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation.

Manhattan-based interior designer Tina Ramchandani will present Readers Retreat for ASPIRE HOUSE: The Heritage at Claremont at The Great Hall residences, 80 Claremont Road in Bernardsville. Aspire Design and Home magazine in partnership with NGC Development will sponsor the benefit, which is  previewing with a limited ticket Fundraiser Gala on Saturday, March 14, and will remain open to the public with tours and special events from March 15-May 17.

“When I learned we were creating spaces in a luxury living community originally designed by architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, I knew I wanted to be involved,” Ramchandani said. “The talented American architect well-known for his famous spaces including the Dakota and The Plaza Hotel, produces work that is thoughtful, high-end and exudes sophistication. I incorporated these characteristics into this Master Suite through my own lens, soulful minimalismTM creating a space that embodies current day livable luxury. The Reader’s Retreat is designed to be a modern-day reprieve from the stressors of daily life. The enveloping nature of upholstered walls and a moody color palette sets the stage for resting, reading and recharging. The juxtaposition of the wallpaper adds life and excitement with dark tones and a metallic bronze geometric pattern."
