WARREN, NJ - Warren Township on Friday morning extended the property tax grace period at a special meeting Friday morning based on the Governor’s Executive Order Number 130.

The Township gave notice after Governor Murphy issued the order. Townships need to give 48 hours notice and are not able to extend grace periods absent an order.

The order allows towns to extend the normal 10-day grace period, making the new effective deadline May 29.

“For those who pay directly to their municipalities, this is an additional measure of relief,” Murphy said.
