CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham’s 9-11 Memorial Foundation will hold its 18th annual 9-11 "Remembrance Ceremony" 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, at Memorial Park in honor of the 13 Chatham residents killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
The memorial is located at the North Passaic entrance to Memorial Park in Chatham Borough.
Part of the ceremony includes the ringing of a bell as the names of the lost are announced and flowers are placed by their plaques. Todd Ferrie of Chatham played "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes at the 2018 ceremony during the bell ringing.
The Chatham residents who will be remembered during the 9/11 Memorial are: Donald L. Adams, Dennis Buckley, Paul S. Gilbey, Gary R. Haag, Anthony P. Infante Jr.; Robin B. Larkey, Christian H. Maltby, Philip W. Mastrandrea, Peter C. Moutos, Thomas Strada, Kenneth J. Swenson, William R. Tieste and Peter M. West.
