ROSELLE, NJ - The community came out to Roselle Borough Hall on Sunday afternoon to join Mayor Christine Dansereau and the Mayor’s Office of Hispanic-Latino Affairs, annual Three Kings / Dia de Los Reyes Celebration.

Three Kings Day is celebrated on Jan. 6, to honor the Three Wise Men and the day they gave gifts to Christ and also the last day of Christmas festivities. This is the day in Mexico for everyone to exchange presents. Children in Latin America and Spain receive most of their gifts from the Three Kings rather than from Santa at Christmas.

Children performed a play for the audience and afterward, the Three Kings made their entrance and handed out a present to each child and a bag of cookies and candy.
