BRIDGEWATER, NJ -- Ryan Cernuto scored four goals and assisted on three others to lead Bridgewater-Raritan to a 14-6 boys lacrosse victory over East Brunswick in the first round of the South Jersey, Group 4 state tournament on Wednesday.

Brady Kurdyla finished with four goals and one assist and Ethan Fought totaled two goals and one assist for the Panthers (8-8), who built a 7-1 lead by halftime.

Peter Usewick, Jarrett Dugenio, Mike Lenskold and Peter Della Volpe each scored one goal for BRHS.
