PARSIPPANY, NJ - Despite the snow, the Parsippany Pacers Annual Girls Basketball Tournament was a go! The Parsippany Pacers just finished their 25th Annual Tournament this past March 1st  - 9th where the Girls Eighth Grade team won first place!

Because of the weather the tournament almost didn't happen but thanks to the hard work of the custodians, they were able to make the tournament happen.

Head coach, Neil Rogers, has led his team with the help of coaches Caryn Badian, Nicholas Guzzardo and Veronica Serkowska to multiple victories over many years together. They have secured the number two spot for playoff seeding in the NWBP league and will continue to fight their way to number one over the next week when they play Ramsey then Paramus.

In addition to the Parisppany 8th grade team winning first place, East Orange AllStars took home the second place prize for their 8th grade team.   

Other team winners were:  Montville Broncos 1st place 7th grade;  West Milford Lady Highlanders 2nd place 7th grade;  Montville Broncos 1st place 6th grade;Pequannock Panthers 2nd place 6th grade; Roxbury 1st place 5th grade; Wanaque 2nd place 5th grade; Montville Broncos 1st place 4th grade 10’ basket; Mahwah T-Birds 2nd place 4th grade 10’ basket; Oakland Braves 1st place 4th grade 8.5’ basket and Midland Park Lady Panthers 2nd place 4th grade 8.5’ basket.
