SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity soccer team won their second game in a row on Tuesday, defeating Woodbridge Academy 6-0. Yanni Hatzistefanis and Chris Moran led the Chargers offense. Both seniors netted two goals and had an assist in the victory. Sunny Goswami and Steven Karczewski each had one goal for Spotswood while Jimmy Lentino had an assist. Liam Barlow had two assists in the game for the Chargers. Anish Batta made 12 saves for Woodbridge Academy. The Spotswood defense effectively shut down Woodbridge Academy's offense. Woodbridge did not manage any shots on the Chargers keeper Andrew Bishara.

The victory improves the Chargers overall record to 2-1 on the young season. Spotswood hosts Metuchen High School on Thursday at the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field. Game time is 4 p.m. This is the first meeting between the two teams. Metuchen is 3-0 so far this season.
