NEW YORK, NY - Seems Glen Rockers show up everywhere there's action, even at Wednesday morning's Women's World Cup Soccer Victory Parade down the "Canyon of Heroes" in New York City, a stretch of Broadway from Battery Park to City Hall.

At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, the United States Women's World Cup Soccer team celebrated their second consecutive world cup victory with a parade hosted by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (also a Democratic candidate for president). The ladies beat the Netherlands in the final match on Sunday, July 7, 2-0, which took place in Lyon, France.

The US won the last World Cup four years ago with several of the same players.

Glen Rock resident Eileen Hillock attended, along with several other Glen Rockers. This is her photo essay.
