SURF CITY - The Fourth Annual Long Beach Island Job Fair will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for people to find a job or even a career.
Over 40 businesses will be hiring part and full time seasonal and/or year round workers.
14 year olds and older are encouraged to attend who are looking for a job.
The event will take place at the Surf City Yacht Club, located at 399 N. 9th Street in Surf City.
Shore Fire Grille owner, Tim Kohlheim came up with this idea back in 2016 and each year it has continued to grow in success.
Kohlheim said, "What sets this year apart from the past is that there will be over 40 different businesses and will also include a trades table for anyone looking to learn or work in any trade, plumbing, electrical, etc."
The first job fair brought over 700 applicants, second year brought nearly 1,100, third year grew to 1,500 and this year is expected to bring close to 1,800 potential hirees.
If you are planning on attending you're encouraged to print, fill out and bring the LBI Job Fair Pre-Application with you below:
