OXFORD, UK – A group of St. Bonaventure University will say goodbye to pizza and chicken wings this summer and dine on some of Great Britain’s finest dishes while they take part in the university’s Francis E. Kelley Oxford program.

To make sure their dining manners meet the standards of the culinary delights they will enjoy at weekly High Table dinners, the students received an etiquette lesson from Jon Flint, chief steward at Trinity College, Oxford University.

The first of six High Table dinners is scheduled for Thursday. Each dinner will be preceded by a lecture or presention.

Thirty-seven St. Bonaventure students are taking part in the university’s six-week summer program at world-famous University of Oxford in England. Students take electives and required courses from the St. Bonaventure curriculum and are taught by a mix of St. Bonaventure and Oxford faculty. The program also includes field trips to popular sites and attractions in the United Kingdom.
