READINGTON, NJ – Balloons may be the main attraction at the annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, but music also takes center stage here.

The festival will be held July 27 through July 29 at Solberg Airport and this year’s main music attractions have been announced.

On Friday evening, Andy Grammer will perform. His debut album featured the platinum singles “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me.” His second album, Magazine or Novels, featured the triple-platinum “Honey, I’m Good,” which was one of the best-selling songs of 2015, and the certified gold anthem “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah).” It will be a homecoming of sorts for the pop star who grew up about an hour north of here in Central Valley, N.Y. His father is Red Grammer, an East Orange native and Grammy-nominated children’s recording artist.

Saturday’s headliner will be Lifehouse, who first broke through in 2001 when “Hanging By a Moment” from their “No Name Face” album spent 20 weeks in the Top 10. Following their debut album, the band has released six more albums and sold more 15 million records worldwide. Hit singles include “You and Me,” “Whatever it Takes,” “Broken,” “Halfway Gone,” “Between the Raindrops” and “Hurricane.”

Creedence Clearwater Revisited will close out this year’s concert series on Sunday. The band incudes Creedence Clearwater Revival founding members and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford. They launched Creedence Clearwater Revisited not long after their induction into the Rock Hall. The legendary rhythm section led by Cook’s bass and Clifford’s drums helped produce classic hits including “Proud Mary,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Travelin’ Band,” “Looking Out My Back Door,” “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” “Down on the Corner,” and “Up Around the Bend.”

The three-day balloon festival includes 100 sport and specially shaped hot air balloons from around the world taking to the skies twice each day in mass ascensions. Other highlights include fireworks; a nighttime hot air balloon glow; children’s amusement rides and entertainment; the Running with the Balloons 5K; interactive exhibits and hundreds of crafters and food vendors.
